Chooms, today was a real netrunner’s nightmare—Trump and Musk pulled some serious gonk moves, and the system’s feelin’ the aftershock.

First up, Trump’s crew tried to flatline the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB), but a federal judge slammed the brakes hard. Judge Amy Berman Jackson jacked in and called out their corpo-backed sabotage, ordering the CFPB to fire back up. The suits thought they could ghost one of the last defenses against their financial scams, but the court just dropped a fat “access denied” on that hackjob.

Meanwhile, the State Department, with Musk’s Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) backing their play, iced USAID. Official line? “Budget cuts.” Reality? A straight-up power grab. They’re rolling USAID’s functions into State, but you know how that goes—programs get lost, oversight gets scrapped, and the corpos fill the void.

Then there’s the latest crackdown: vandalizing a Tesla might get you labeled a domestic terrorist now. Yeah, scratch up Musk’s shiny fleet, and you’re getting hunted by feds like you just jacked a megacorp mainframe. Attorney General Pam Bondi’s leading the charge, promising “severe consequences” for anyone who even thinks about messing with the golden boy’s empire.

On the flip side, resistance is heating up. Nearly 200 Tesla showrooms are bracing for protests in what’s being called the “Tesla Takedown.” Organizers are rallying people to dump Tesla stock and ditch their rides, trying to hit Musk where it hurts. Question is—will it be enough to fry his bottom line, or just another blip on the grid?

And in case you thought Musk was done playing kingmaker, he just tried to slip two million eddies to backers of his judicial shakeup in Wisconsin. His goal? Boost conservative candidate Brad Schimel and knife so-called “activist judges.” When the heat came down, he tweaked the offer, but the message was clear—Musk and Trump are setting up their own rigged game, and the stakes are sky-high.

Bottom line, chooms, Trump and Musk are tearing up the old code and rewriting it to lock in their control. Government’s getting gutted, watchdogs are getting muzzled, and anyone standing in their way is getting steamrolled. So here’s the play: grab your iron, jack into the grid, and start pushing back. Whether you’re cracking ICE, feeding the data-hungry, or hitting the streets, now’s the time to burn some bandwidth and make ‘em sweat. The system’s only as strong as the people who let it run—so let’s make ‘em work for it.
